Learn MoreThis project is in collaboration with a governmental laboratory working on a fermentation process which yields an aqueous solution of short chains monoalcohols. Our contribution to this work will be the development of a suitable heterogeneous catalyst for the conversion of these mixtures of alcohols into gazoline range (C5-C9) hydrocarbons. The complete project would then lead to a waste to gazoline process.
The student will work on preparation, characterization and testing of these solid catalysts.
