Learn MoreIn the technology sector, there are so many different computing systems that they need a way to communicate with each other. When different technologies can share information and work together to solve tasks, the benefits of computing are amplified. For example, smart home devices are much more convenient when they all communicate with one platform that can be accessed by the homeowner. In the field of cybersecurity, there are a variety of monitoring platforms which perform surveillance activities in order to inform cybersecurity analysts of potential threats. Two of such platforms, FireEye Security Orchestrator and McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, are highly useful but are not built to communicate with each other. This project seeks to build a single interface which communicates with both security platforms, so that their results can be easily compared by cybersecurity analysts.
