Québec, Quebec — Following the official announcement by the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and the Honourable Mark Holland, Minister of Health, Mitacs is thrilled to confirm its continued support through the Strategic Science Fund (SSF). The announcement, made in Québec City, highlights the Government of Canada’s commitment to investing in cutting-edge research and fostering the next generation of scientists.
The event marked a significant moment for Canadian innovation, as more than $800 million in funding was allocated to 24 esteemed science and research organizations across the country. This investment reinforces Mitacs’s pivotal role in driving economic growth and innovation by connecting research with industry and developing talent to address global challenges.
