The MITACS annual conference is on! From May 25 - 28, 2010 MITACS will be partnering with CORS to bring top academics in the mathematical sciences and operational research together to explore advances and share research results.

A particularly stimulating feature of this partnership is the exploration of the role of operations research across the five MITACS themes. Many of the MITACS research projects deal with optimization in various ways and building better linkages between these two communities is intellectually timely and exciting.

The conference will have an exciting scientific program, including:

• a public lecture
• three plenary lectures
• six tutorial lectures
• over 50 scientific sessions.
