Mitacs and the FRQSC Renew their Agreement and Relaunch the Accelerate Program

City of Québec, QC Mitacs and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC) are pleased to announce the renewal of the Scholarship for Internship in a Practice Environment (BSMP) FRQSC-Mitacs Accelerate program. For the 2024-2025 fiscal year, 75 scholarships, ranging in value from $13,000 to $15,000, will be offered to students pursuing graduate studies in the social sciences and humanities, education, management, arts and humanities. 

 The Accelerate program is designed to provide interns with practical work experience during which they can mobilize their research knowledge. The program also aims to foster bilateral exchanges and collaboration between the research community and the parapublic, public and private sectors. Finally, it supports practice environments in their efforts to integrate people pursuing a master’s or doctoral research program into the job market.
