Backrail Technologies makes quantum and hybrid computing accessible via software designed for developers, system managers, and CIOs.

Project Description:

We realized that there’s not enough focus on the developers in the Quantum sector so we want to build, design and deliver developer tools and a hybrid systems management platform that would enable people to take advantage of this amazing technology. So pragmatic, realistic tools that help enable quantum and hybrid computing for the masses.

Background and required skills

Research Objectives/Sub-Objectives:

Accelerate a quantum and hybrid future with the addition of more tradtional developer tools to the sector.

The key challenge for us is understanding how and when to send the problem to quantum vs traditional. We are looking for help with an alogrithm on how to break down problems and direct them to varied computational overhead based on a quantum advantage. This will also involve understanding and working with the best tools to help deal with quantum error correction or error mitigation.

  • Understanding and expertise of Quantum and hybrid computing and problems it is best to solve
  • Broad, general understanding of the developer tools
