Project Description:

VigilantCS has built a Regtech staff compliance platform which automates regulatory requirements and provides staff level risk analytics.  The position will conduct a thorough review of academic materials to assess behavioural characteristics of employees to assess their propensity to comply with stated corporate policy. 

Research Objectives:

Research objectives will be:

  • understand academic papers on staff compliant behaviour
  • assess common characteristics that may or may not evidence compliant behaviour
  • understanding the VigilantCS platform and third party information factors that should be considered when building a predictive analytical tool around compliant behavioural characteristics


  • Perform secondary review of academic and non-academic studies around employee’s propensity to comply
  • Assess existing tools that support companies to understand employee’s propensity to comply
  • Conduct review of the existing information that is available through current securities regulatory requirements and through public domain sources
  • Based on assessment provide an initial recommendation of staff level factors to gauge an employee’s propensity to comply

Expertise and Skills Needed:

    • PhD candidate or Masters in psychology or business (organizational behaviour) 
    • Ability to work independently
    • Outgoing people person
    • Entrepreneurial
